Francesco Gaetano Pipicelli left Calabria, Italy, in and around 1906 to start a new life in America. Little did he realize that he was bringing my future with him, for he is the great-grandfather of my lovely wife, Lisa. We could think of no more fitting a title for our business than the proud name of this wonderful man. As a child growing up in the New Jersey/New York City area, I believe few things compared to ordering a pizza pie made with fresh, homemade dough and a rich sauce that you could really taste the tomatoes in! I have always dreamed of opening my own pizza shop, and now I'm living out that dream with my loving family in fantastic Ashland, Virginia - the "Center of the Universe," as it's affectionately known to the people who live here.
